Uploading Files
If you wish to send us some pictures to share with others please do the following:
Ensure the images are of a reasonable size (min height = 200px, min width = 200px) and resolution 72 dpi or above for publishing.
Include a text file { preferably .txt } describing the images, people, and/or places, and the date (or approx) taken.
Please zip the images and the description together so they can be managed at this end.

Passwords
Passwords are required to manage access to certain modules and categories of documents on the website.
We do not want someone without care posting something nasty.
We have set certain rules for passwords on this site. Not over the top type requirements but some simple rules to ensure sufficient security.
You are required to have the following in your password:
Minimum number of characters: = 4
Minimum number of Integers:= 1
Minimum Upper case := 1
Minimum Lower case := 1
eg: WasMe1, IsMe2, tWasnTmE3

Creating an Account in jakes1970s.net
If you would like to join the online community that is jakes1970s.net you can do so by following these steps:
- Click the Create Account item on the Login Menu on the Login page
- Complete the User Registration form, making sure you take note of your user name and password.
- This will trigger an automatic email to your nominated email account to verify your email address. You just need to click the link in the email to verify.
- That's it! You will now have greater access to the site and as we progress with building the site further options will be available.
